insights@JSEC

insights@JSEC is an open format of the Jena Schumpeter Center for research on social and economic change. The lecture series, which is both virtual and in attendance, deals with current topics and is close to the pulse of time.  We discuss current issues with guests from research, politics and business and aim to stimulate discussion. The diversity of topics reflects the entire breadth of the JSEC, thus underlining the importance of examining problems and phenomena from different perspectives.

The following talks are planned:

  • Pierre Siklos (Wilfrid Laurier University and Balsillie School of International Affairs), 28.10.2020
  • Monika Schnitzer (LMU Munich) 25.11.2020
  • Anja Siegesmund (Thuringian Minister for the Environment, Energy and Nature Conservation) 16.12.2020
  • Cornelia Betsch (University of Erfurt) 06.01.2021
  • Albrecht Koschorke (University of Konstanz) 18.01.2021
  • John Komlos (visiting professor of economics at Duke University) 03.02.2021
